I am using white cotton fabrics from my collection and hand sewing in red silk thread, to make explicit the beauty in the hand stitches.
Amongst the pile of white fabrics I have two shirts that Clara gave me. Her Brother was going to chuck them out because a button had fallen off!
When Clara assisted me for one of my workshops, she used another of her Brother’s shirts she had passed on to me. She said she found it quite enjoyable to cut up ‘office clothing’... I wonder if I will feel the same?
your quilts are so amazing. I just started with a few pillows and would love to make a quilt too..but I have never made one and don't really know how to put the layers together..well I guess I should just try my luck ; )
